Terri deserves at least the consideration given to a dog

First, Terri Shiavo is not a vegetable, nor is she in a vegetative state. She is aware, and has tried to communicate her will to live. Her parents and her family just want to take her home and care for her. Her abusive husband, who may very well be responsible for her brain damage in the first place, is the only one that wants her dead- he happens to remember her saying that she would not want to be kept alive on “life-support”. She does not need life support. She needs a feeding tube, because her husband would not allow any therapy at all, would not even allow nurses to try to feed her normally. He is also the only one that stands to benefit from her death. This is not about allowing someone to die with dignity, this is about the right of an abusive husband to finish off his wife and gain from it.

Where are the feminist groups? Where is the outrage that something like this could be possible in America?

In my opinion, Jeb Bush should go in with the National Guard and rescue Terri from these idiot judges, and throw the judges in jail to await trial for breaking the law. Terri deserves at least the consideration given to a dog, who no one would allow to starve to death.
