Abortion is NOT safe.

A very common claim by pro-abortionists is that abortion is "safe and legal". Nothing could be further from the truth. It is not a safe procedure. Any serious research into abortion will find the cases of death, of sterilization, and of medical malpractice much higher in the field of abortion than in other medical field of a similar nature. The afteraffects don't stop with just the physical though. Studies of women after they have had abortions show that post-procedural trauma for abortion clients may be as high as 91 percent of all cases. Families of pregnant teens need to be told that over 90% of women having abortions suffer damage to their self-esteem. Nearly 50% of post-abortion women begin or increase drug and alcohol abuse. In the years to follow, 60% experience suicidal tendencies, with up to 28% actually attempting suicide. Other problems include promiscuity, depression, flashbacks, concentration problems, and dramatic personality changes. Recent studies show that approximately 20% of women having abortions will suffer full-blown, clinically diagnosable, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and over 50% will have some PTSD symptoms.

These are issues that you should have access to the information, so that you can make an informed decision. Clearly, if more people knew and understood the dangers of abortion, less women would get them, and less family members would try to pressure women relatives into abortion "for their own good". If those that claimed they had women's best interests at heart were honest and informed, they would immediately expose the abortion industry as unsafe and unhealthy for women.

What you should do if you are going to have an abortion

Clearly I do not in any way advocate abortion. I think it is a barbaric act, killing your child. Like the people of old that sacrificed their children to gain the pleasure of the gods, we do the same. Oh, we call our gods by different names, like choice, women's rights, career, education, etc., but they are false gods just the same.

Even though I am strongly against abortion, my heart breaks for the women that die because of abortion. My heart goes out to those that require complete hysterectomies to save their lives because of incompetant doctors, for those that have been brutally raped by unscrupulous abortionists. So I put together a list of things to remember if you are going to have an abortion anyway, even knowing that you are killing an innocent human life, and knowing that you are putting your own life in jeopardy.

• Check to see if there are any malpractice lawsuits against the clinic that you intend to go. Most women never file lawsuits, even if there has been severe malpractice, because most women don't want the publicity of people knowing that they were there to get an abortion, so if there are malpractice lawsuits, you can bet that there were many more cases of malpractice that were never filed.
• Check to see if there were any deaths associated with the abortion clinic. Many times the death is not filed as abortion related, it may be filed as perforation of the uterus, and many times the woman dies at the local hospital, and not at the abortion clinic.
• Demand to see the sterilization of instruments. Clinics have been shut down for lack of sterilized equipment, and sharing bloody instruments between patients. In this day of AIDS, demand to see where they sterilize, it is your right to ensure your own safety.
• Look closely at the table, the floor, the walls of the room. If you notice blood, fresh or dried, then get out and find another clinic.
• Take a friend or family member with you. It must be someone that is willing to call an ambulance, and willing to make a fuss if you are not given the proper care. Many times women bleed to death, and the abortionist refuses to call an ambulance, because it makes the clinic look bad, and it could scare away other clients waiting to have their own abortions.

  Often, the family member is waiting in the waiting room, denied access to their family member while they lie bleeding to death, and then they have to deal with the guilt that they could have done more. If you are the family member, do not hesitate to yell, scream, call an ambulance, or do whatever you have to do to provide care for your loved one. Don't wait until it is too late.

• If you experience extreme pain, or continued heavy bleeding after the abortion, demand that an ambulance be called. Do not accept a ride in a private car. Remember, it is your life at stake, and that is worth much more than any doctor's reputation, or any lost clients for the abortionist. Fight as if your life depends on it, because it very well may.
• Buy and read Lime 5, a book on the dangers and abuses of abortion. You owe it to yourself to be informed about the issue, before you put your life under care, and under the knife of an incompetant doctor.
